emergency first aid of Heart attack
What should you do if someone has a heart attack?
If someone has a heart attack or stroke, only a few minutes to act before it is too late. It ‘important to know what to do first.
To perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and artificial respiration (CPR) effectively, training and practice on resuscitation mannequins are often very important.
First aid courses offered at schools throughout the country at night or volunteer organizations such as St. John Ambulance or Red Cross.
How can you tell if someone is having a heart attack?
If the person is not aware of:
* I’m breathing? Note the patient’s chest to see whether increasing or decreasing.
* Do not have a pulse? Two fingers on one or the other side of the window to enter in the throat to see if they have a carotid pulse.
If the patient has a pulse, but is not breathing:
* May cause choking? Feel in the mouth with a finger to see if there is anything that prevents or throat and remove any food or other objects. As long as the implant is not broken, it is better not to delete it.
* Ask for help immediately, saying that the victim is not breathing, and provide resuscitation (see below) until the patient began to breathe or the ambulance came.
If no breathing or pulse, the patient suffered a heart attack.
What help is needed?
* If possible, lift the leg until 12-18 inches bigger to allow blood flow to the heart
* Immediately place the palm of your hand on the patient’s chest, just above the bottom of the sternum (breastbone), and press the hand pumping motion once or twice to use the other hand. This can make the heart beat again.
If this action does not restore a pulse or if the subject began to breathe again
* Ask for help, saying that the victim was a heart attack, but lived with the patient.
* Find out if there was anyone else present knows CPR.
* Give artificial respiration immediately (see below).
* Begin CPR immediately (see below).
Artificial respiration
* Tilt your head back and lift chin.
* Pinch your nostrils with two fingers to prevent air leakage.
* Take a deep breath and closed her mouth on the mouth.
* Breathe slowly in the mouth – which should last about two seconds to inflate the chest with the right.
* Do this two times.
* Check to see if chest rises when you breathe into the patient.
* If so, the more beautiful the air blown into
* If there is resistance, try to keep your head far back and lift the chin again.
* Repeat this procedure until help arrives or the person began to breathe again.
How to perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)?
See if there is breathing. If not, start artificial respiration, as described above. Checked the pulse in the neck (carotid artery) may waste valuable time if the rescuer is inexperienced in this control. The procedure is as follows:
* Place your fingers in the hollow of the throat and the side muscles of the neck. Click back here to check your pulse.
If no pulse, or if you are unsure, then proceed without delay in this way:
* Look at the man’s chest and found the ‘inverted V-shaped notch’, which is made from the lower ribs. Put your middle finger in this notch and then place your index finger beside him, resting on the sternum. Take heel hands of others, and slide down the sternum until it touches the index finger. Heel of your hand should be positioned in the middle of the bottom of the sternum.
* Now place the heel of your other hand on top of the first. Keep your fingers on his chest, locking them together. Pressure must be applied with the heel of the hand alone.
* Keep the right elbow, and carrying the load in your hands to make it easier to press.
* Press firmly and quickly to reach the downward movement of 4-5 cm, then relax and repeat the compression.
* Do this 15 times, then give artificial respiration twice, and continue this 15:2 procedure until help arrived.
* Objectives for compression rate of about 100 per minute. You can help you calculate the time and say ‘one and two and three and four …’ etc.
Artificial respiration and CPR should both be done at the same time
* If possible, someone else to help – one person to perform artificial respiration and the other to perform CPR. (This is not easily achieved without prior and proper training to participate in CPR training sessions to become familiar with this technique.)
* The ratio of chest compressions to breaths 15:2 Is it good for one person and two person CPR.
* Continue until the ambulance arrives or the patient received pulse and began breathing again.
* If the return of pulse and respiration started, but people still conscious, roll it gently on their side in the recovery position. This causes the mucus or vomit can come out of the mouth and do not hinder the patient’s breath. Also prevents the tongue falling back and blocking the airway.
Convinced that the patient still has a pulse and breathing until the ambulance arrived
* If you manage to turn people who were falling ill, he or she may be confused and worried by all the commotion. Keep the patient warm and quiet with quiet, but clearly, told them what happened.
Once again, it should be stressed that the only way to provide adequate first aid and resuscitation is through learning the technique, then regular practice and guidance
